AboutBonjour, Guten Tag, Aloha, Shalom, and all that jazz to the FIRST Emo Boy community here on the wonderful world of livejournal! This is a fantastic community, if I do say so myself, and is quite laid back. There aren't and rules, no one cares how you type, and we won't kill you if you've happened upon this community by accident and hate the comic and communities and the world in general and want everything to die. We don't care! What we do care about, however, is your happiness and comfort while staying here and we hope it is all good and great. Have a nice stay and don't forget the complimentary mints we leave on your pillows.

What is Emo Boy? Is he real/cute/single?
Emo Boy is a comic published by Slave Labor Graphics and was created by/illustrated by Steve Emond, a fantastically nice person with whom I've had some interesting conversations. Emo Boy is an emo teenager going through high school and happens to be invited, quite by force, to be a part of a schoolmate, Billy's band to write lyrics. We find all of this out in issue one, but for thelosers people who haven't read it yet, I won't spoil the story.
Who is this Steven person you mentioned? Is he real/cute/single?
Steve, as mentioned above, you lazy fool, is the creator of Emo Boy. e is very much so real, as has a livejournal to prove this. While the existance of a livejournal does not necessarily prove the existance of the creator, let me just assure you he is real.
Dude, I want a copy of this Emo Boy! You've made it seem so appealing to me! Where do I get one?!
Woah, calm down. You've gotten yourself so excited you're calling me 'dude'.. and I'm a chick. Not cool, man. Not cool. But, since I'm a forgiving person, I'll link you to zee SLG website where you can get your own copy of this wonderous comic.. and perhaps spend a fortune ordering other great comics 'n stuff.
Can I make icons and banners and fanart and go utterly insane in Photoshop doing everything Emo Boy-related I can think of? Will you look at it and love me for my artistic abilities?
While I can't promise any love for your icons and junk, I can promise you we will look at it and comment on it. It's possible there will be a little spot or maybe a photobucket account somewhere that will house all the Emo Boy paraphernalia your squishy little heads can think of. Please, submit away! We aleady have one fan artsy picture and the artist of said picture got a hearty pat on the back. Is that motivational or what!
